Default Anyone grow 'Chinese Dwarf'?

A friend told me he thinks the banana that he liked when he lived in Hawaii was called Chinese Dwarf. I see this variety listed on Ken Love's banana poster (linked in the wiki) and I also see it is also called Dwarf Williams according to http://gaiayoga.org/nursery/banana_plants.html, but I've never heard of anyone growing it. Is anyone familiar with it?

My friend recalled the banana he is looking for as a dwarf with a thick psuedostem. I guessed it was Dwarf Brazilian (aka Hawaiian Banana), but he doesn't think that's it.

Thanks in advance!
