Default Re: Magic Fertilizers

Your bananas would like to have nutrients in an N:P:K ratio of 2:1:3, such as 6-3-9, 10-5-15, 16-8-24. Secondary and micronutrients also play an important role, as do the general texture and biological health of your soil. Your local soil and atmospheric conditions can moderate this -- those in the Florida panhandle enjoy extra airborne nitrogen and can get away with less in that category but have to deal with poor soil biotics.

In general, there are no silver bullets for plants (or humans), it all comes down to a balanced diet. The long-standing members here in your local area are good guides to success.
