All three of those plants are relatively smooth compared to a variety with serrated edges like a Natal Queen. The smooth in Smooth Cayenne does not mean perfectly smooth without even a couple thorns, it's a comparative description of a variety with many variations, such as ( CO-2, MD-2, Sarawak, Champaka etc...). Due to breeding, cross pollination, and other factors, a Smooth Cayenne variety could have zero to several serrations on the leaf edges. But generally speaking, it would be smooth compared to just about any other variety.
