Default Re: transplant question

Take as big a root ball as possible, dig a new hole larger than the root ball. Put the plant in the hole and fill the hole with compost. Water well. Do it quick while there is enough warmth to get the plant to put out new roots before the winter siesta.

I have transplanted 10+ ft. plants. It can be done, but they are heavy.

Do not trim off leaves. The plants will figure out what they need and can support.
