I don't know why these people up North never get too excited about planting bananas and alocasia until it's mid-winter and then get frustrated with us warm weather states because we can. We have problems also like Logos with his wife in bed with three cats. It was 40 degrees here last night and my wife was in bed with an overgrown blond cockerspaniel and a 2 year old muscle-bound pitt bull who has to sleep under the covers. It warms back up to 80 degrees every day.....but she keeps the air conditioner thermostat on 69 and she wears a mask hooked up to a machine because she has a sleeping disorder. And you guys think you have a problem with little ice storms and you bananas getting frost-bite. My heart goes out to Logos. If it gets any colder, I'm going to move down South.
