Not all Ae Ae plants are equal and without the ability to inspect the plant, you need knowledge or honest answers.
The most difficult part is to stabilize the pup (push 2 new leaves) after it has been separated from the mother plant and the second most difficult part is to stabilize the pup after it has been shipped (push an additional 2 new leaves).
Most people seem to just hope for the best, but really should be asking the correct questions before their purchase.
IMO, the photo resembles a recently separated pup that has not been stabilized and will have a very low success rate.
After doing some expensive research, I've realized the easiet type of Ae Ae pup to stabilize is a ........
