Need help from banana expert!!! :(
Hello everybody, My name is Will, I'm a new member.
I registered because I've a big problem with my banana plant since winter. It's a young plant and I'm raising it indoors. I bought it in a supermarket, it was wretched, withered and discounted. I thought I'd save it from dying. I re-potted it, fertilized it and everything and it started to grow, and became a beautiful little plant, with big green leaves. But during winter, and since then the new leaves are showing some kind of necrosis, or rot. Specially the top of the leaf. And I really don't know what's its problem. Here's what I did:
-first I thought it was some kind of deficiency so I gave it fertilizer weekly, and put some fertilizer rods into its pot ...didn't help
-Then I thought it could be fertilizer burn, so I stopped giving it fertilizer, and tried to water it abundantly...didn't help
-then I thought it's too much water and it's root may be rotting, so I stopped watering it weekly, but the soil remained wet.
-Then I've decided to re-pot, and I've noticed that the roots had really small place to grow, so I bought a very big pot for it last week and re-potted it
It seemed like it helped a lot, I was like yaaaay I cured it, it's new leaf was green, free from necrotic spots........until this morning.
Could you please help me, what could be its problem?
p.s.: I live in a panel house, and sometimes the air is really dry, but I spray it with water, and during winter I used a humidifier (tefal baby).
I use NPK:7-3-5 fertilizer. Pictures in my gallery.
Thanks a lot
