This method seems to be pretty much bullet proof for palms with either heat tape or some c9 xmas on a thermocube inside. Even works with LED strip lighting for windmill palms. With a nanner, I would probably be inclined to burry a heat tape around the corm, to help keep the ground/corm from freezing. Not too much hopes of success on this one, that's why I'll wait till I have some disposables to practice with.
