Default Re: Sourcing Breadfruit Germplasm in Florida?

I got mine (maopo - very tasty smallish fruit, leaves are almost entire, love it) from these guys: National Tropical Botanical Garden - Tropical Plant Research, Education, and Conservation. Here is a list of their varieties: National Tropical Botanical Garden - Tropical Plant Research, Education, and Conservation.
In general people I've enjoyed ulu with say that while the Hawaiians were the best in the world as far as taro breeding, they did not seem to have much to work with in breadfruit. The best ones seem to come from Samoa and Tahiti. Probably elsewhere, too. I'm not sure what you will have to do to get plants to Trinidad, but if the process starts getting rough you could alway watch Mutiny on the Bounty again.
