It was a tissue culture.

Did come from Wellspring so from what I've gathered it very well could be another variety.
It looks like a Basjoo pup to me. The leaves seem to be the right size in terms of length -width ratio, the reddish stripe on the stem is common on most of the pups I've had. I just ran out to the garden and took a shot of a new pup.



I'm not sure that it being a TC means much, it could be that red stem stripes are common mutations in young Basjoos.
