you should purchase one! If I could make it to so cal I would find and purchase a grafted Green sapote. My seedling tree, that was given to me, puts on amazing amounts of growth and is unphased by winter, it's completely the opposite of Mamey sapote. It grows great here even in my cool summer weather!
