O.K. guys, here's some pics of my makeshift greenhouse that only cost 300 bucks. It was made of sliding glass doors (that i got for free) and a ten dollar door. I put up flashing, shingled it, insulated it, trimmed it out in ceder, and sealed every single crack with caulk. It's on the south east corner of my house so it does pretty good on light. All in all it serves it's purpose sheltering my Siam, Hanging ferns, Spider plant, upright ee's,Super dwarf, Orinata, and several seedlings. It stays about 80-85 in the day and 70 at night. I use a space heater for supplemental heat and have an oscillating fan on the roof. So far its working great and thing are actually growing. I think my Orinata is about to flower!! Just thought I'd share my excitement with you. In about 2 year its coming down to make way for a real aluminum frame greenhouse that will be about 4x as big but for now it's in the budget and it will help with my seasonal depression just being able to see my plants.
