Interesting report. We should have same absolute minimum temperature. We have had a very mild winter (lowest absolute -5C/23F) also here, but it was the most rainy winter i have ever seen. So i'm not sure if the data that you collect also applied here.
However, I managed to keep a dwarf orinoco alive in my cold greenhouse. Just started to push its first new leaf today.
I've got to try saba.
