A Question?
I grow bananas mainly in 60Lit plastic containers for many years, and I
recently found various troubles ,typical one of which was that a newest
cigar leaf was found dead even after a couple of new cigar leaves emerged
after the over wintering.
This kind of thing is quite new to me and so I wonder if this is some how
related with repeated cultivation on the same soil.
So my question is if bananas are prone to cause troubles with repeated
using of the same soils, like potatoes, tomatoes etc.
On the other hand, however, it is also a fact that there are lots of banana and
basjoo groves maintained years after years on the same ground and same soils
without suffering from troubles caused by the repeated cultivation on the same
ground and soils.
Thus I now am much confused.
Anticipating your comments and thank you.
