Hello to all lovers of pineapple

I recently bought a pineapple fruit and decided to experiment increasing it 's just enough in the pictures.We used the method indicated by H2O from the first page but i left the plant just an hour to dry the cut .
The leaves are soft but not dry , it left little healthy tissue.Maybe it was caught cold with winter transportation ? ?
What do you think has a chance to take root and try for another ?
