Default Re: I Don't Know About You Guys ... But

You should try growing some edibles indoors over the winter. It solves the banana itch/addiction and also gives edible fruit instead of just pretty green leaves. I'm in a tad higher zone than you, but it still freezes plenty. I moved my smaller nanners indoors in pots, and I'm having fun watching leaves grow as I type. So, I have to shyly admit, I'm happily not missing out. Some of these babies will grow too big for my room, but some are small enough to keep in pots throughout their life, granted the pots are bigger than 8 gallons. Most of mine are pretty cold hardy, but, I don't want to tack on a year or two to see fruit because I let them die off in the winter.
