Default End of August Update

Again, my yard had a late start being planted in late June and then expirinced 100+ degree temps for quite a few days. Rain ahsn't been plentiful and city water just doesn't cut it. Pics taken on August 31, 2012:

Musa yunnanensis

Colocasia Thailand Giant

Musa velutina

Musa 'Red Tiger'

Mexican Petunia

Canna musafolia(Canna Banana)

Eneste maurelli that was at Lowe's clearance with three yellow leaves. Already looks great!

Colocasia esculenta 'Mammoth' not looking very mammoth.

Colocasia esculenta going around the tree. There are other colocasia's behind these to fill in next spring.

Whole area under the tree filled with Colocasia's, Banana's Windmill Palms, Castor Beans, and Caladiums.

Area by one of the gates from the driveway. Just noticed the Kroger bag that apparently blew into the bed. There is Society Garlic, Mexican Petunia, Canna, and Musa velutina.

Musa velutina is pupping like crazy.

Area under tree and behind the Colocasia's.

Giant Castor Bean
