Thanks for the replies guys , I'm pretty happy with the results this year. I hope to have some fruit next year maybe.
The red Thalia has had no problems with rust , just a small amount of damage from Japanese Beetle . Not many people grow it in this area because of the over wintering indoors/greenhouse so I guess I lucked out and have healthy stock. I have two colours , one is pink/red and the other is red/dark purple. All the thalia are in flower at the moment but there seems to be no pollonating insects about so I guess I'll get no seeds. The pot in the pic has two plants in it so . I'll get a stem and flower pic tomorrow.
