Default Re: Cow Manure Compost? Huh?

I use composted cow, horse and chicken manure everywhere in my yard and have great success with it. Here is a comparison of the fertilizer value of different barnyard animals (fresh manure), however it needs to be composted first, so it will not burn the plants. You will be OK, because store bought manure should be already composted.

Cow. N 0.6 P 0.2 K 0.5
Horse. N 0.7 P 0.3 K 0.6
Steer. N 0.7 P 0.3 K 0.6
Duck. N 1.1 P 1.4 K 0.5
Goat. N 1.3 P 1.5 K 0.4
Turkey N 2.4 P 1.4 K 0.6
Rabbit N 2.4 P 1.4 K 0.6
