Default Re: Floating row covers for frost protection?

I have not used it but know many people who have. I actually bought a 6' x 1,000' roll of a competing brand for my tomato project but ended up delaying my planting until after frost was gone and never used it. A friend of mine near Fresno has used it for many years on her tomatoes and it has worked out well. I think for your light frosts you could just cover the tops and somehow clip the cloth onto the plat to keep it in place. That should be enough to trap in heat and protect your plants. Good luck!
