Thanks for your speedy reply! I found a website on the label of the plant and when I looked on it, I found they only had one variety of banana "Musa tropicana" which I know is a made up name. And after research I found that musa tropicana is apparently another name for SDC. My plant looked the same as the one they had on their site so I think it probably is SDC.
