Cold Flowergram

Hi all,
Found this site while looking for the reason you don't put bananas in the fridge. Love the pics from Big Dog. In the process of moving from Salmon Arm, BC (where it's frosty already this year) to Courtenay, BC (where the climate is more temperate). Moved my banana trees over last December, to my daughter's, who put my 6 footer out in the sun and burnt all the leaves off. My baby tree, only 3' was incinerated by her husband who thought he could put a cigarette out in peat, still have a bit of green left on top but haven't been able to access damage to the corm yet. I hope to be able to have a greenhouse now and grow many trees with fruit. Never had fruit as I have always had my trees in the house. We've had many adventures regrowing after the furnace quit one winter and they froze for 7 days, but they came back. Hardy little suckers. Hopefully my trees can start having a normal life this year. Looking forward to reading all your information, looks like a fun site.
