Default Re: Botanical names of Praying Hands

Below are two scientifically accurate names for the cultivars you mentioned. Edible banana taxonomy does not conform to Linnean binomials, and as of now there is no standardization for cultivar names, so many synonyms are around but all are generally accepted. The portion in parentheses indicates the genome constitution and subgroup designation.

Musa (ABB Saba) 'Praying Hands'
Musa (AAB Pisang Kelat) '1000 Fingers'

Other common names for '1000 Fingers' include 'Pisang Seribu' and 'Kluai Roi Wi', and 'Praying Hands' is also known as 'Bendetta' and 'Ripping', though both cultivars have many other synonyms as well.
