Default Winter Hyacinth - High Pleasure Yield

On New Year’s Day 2012 I posted the following picture, which I had photographed 2 days earlier:

Today I took this picture of the Winter Hyacinth it came from.

I am not sure, when the flowers opened outside, because I am never here during that time, but
that is supposed to happen late January to early February, beating Forsythia both in the early
bloom starting gate, as well as in duration of the ‘show time’.
