So, the leaves might perish. The corm is apparently healthy. If it stays that way, then any leaves that perish will eventually be followed by green ones.

Bananas are very different from deciduous fruit trees. They do not hibernate in the same sense.

BTW, if you plant super-low chill (under 300 chill-hours) deciduous pit and pome fruit trees that can tolerate the cold in your area, then an early bloom followed by a freeze is not a problem -- they just bloom again when the weather warms back up!
