Default musella lasiocarpa why won't it bloom?

I've taken about 100,000 suckers off this musella lasiocarpa of mine, (well, at least 15!)it's got about three feet of pseudostem, and about 12 more suckers-- but still no sign of a flower. I know this plant has to be three years old now. It seems perfectly healthy except for an attack of spider mites around 8/1 that left the leaves ugly.
What should I do with this one?
I sold a large pup that was a year old to a guy here locally and he swears that his plant is 8-9 feet tall with huge leaves. But I know it's the same pup, and off that same plant. I didn't even know they would get that tall.
I got this one off e-bay a long time ago, is there something that looks similar to a musella lasiocarpa that I just haven't heard of?
I can post a picture tomorrow, I'll get one taken.
