I found what was wrong, it was rotted on the inside also.

It had some rot on the inside and it was on the middle parts of the roots to, moving its way out. So thats why some of the roots still looked ok.

I cut all the rot off of it, and from the inside of it. It was only the bottom part of the plant, so maybe it will grow back.

I put some rooting hormone on it and set it on top of the soil in hopes it will root.

The store must have been really over watering them! I feel so bad for this plant.
