Default New to Site

Hi All,

I'm new to Bananas.org. I live in Fairfield in Northern California and would like to grow some plants that will last outdoors. I've purchased banana plants at places like Lowes and other nurseries but they either die from the winter cold or the hot 100 degree sun during the summer like the one we're having now. Can anyone suggest a plant that does well here and where I can get them? Thanks for your help.
