Ive never seen those here. I think they require a lot more dry weather than we can provide (all the yuccas here have to be very moisture tolerant). One website rates Y. Filifera for zones 8a and up, so they would probably be a challange here.
I did see a Yucca thompsoniana once which looks kind of familiar to Filifera but is a bit more cold tolerant. I only saw thompsoniana once here though so I dont know if its actually all that cold tolerant or not.
