Here, it's the law that you can only do them on the holiday and not on other days. Of course people do them anyway and it goes on three days before the actual holiday, and three days
after!

Some people will call the police, while others just sit and enjoy the show.

Hope you had a great 4th of July. I know you had a terrific birthday.
