I am relatively new to growoing bananas. I garden in the Tidewater area of Virginia in a 7b or 8a gardening zone. I currently have three different kinds of bananas, orinocco, basjoo, and an unknown cultivar that I got at a local plant sale. I want to learn more on how to get them to bloom and bear bananas. My orinocco is in its third season and the basjoo is in its second season. The other bananas is not hardy so I keep it in my sunroom in the winter. When or will I get blooms and bananas?
