I have this 'weed' vine thingy that grows in the back yard from time to time, and each time I trim it back, it always regrows. Never really knew what it was except an annoying weed. Well, after looking at all these passion flower photos, I notice that it MUST be a passion flower of some sort since it is a dead ringer form some of the light purple ones posted here. There is a major difference however, the blooms on the one in my backyard are between the size of a quarter and a half-dollar, and never any larger than that. The fruit that I've seen is generally the size of a grape or smaller. In spite of the small size, it is identical to many of your pics. I'll have to take a photo next time it blooms with a coin in the pic for size comparison. Nice to finally know what the 'weed' is even if I don't know what type.
