Already done...............I have 2 of these "Mystery" bananas in the ground. No need for thorny plants, the property is entirely enclosed by 8" fence and with security! The only animals are the dogs and they dont bother my plants.... paradisiaca LINN. is the designation for plantains and Musa sapientum LINN. is the designation for dessert bananas, so again, not much help in identifying this one. I will have to wait for it to flower and produce fruit to see if it is the exact same plant as Camillinoir has. If I am VERY LUCKY, it wont be the same. And even if it is, we still dont know exactly WHAT this "Florida" really IS!
