Good luck with your Orinocos. I'm in my second season of bananas and I have sucessfully overwintered a 7 foot P-stem. I might get fruit in my 8b/9a IF I pour on the fertilizer, water and nutrients and IF I get lucky and have a late Winter.

Where you live I doubt the season is long enough. Maybe.
