Just joining the mango community with this "Gomera-1" cultivar. I got it from the Canary Islands, Spain and this cultivar is used there and also in mainland Spain as rootstock for mango trees.

Canarius Blog - Mango varieties. So I decided to try it out. I think I will keep it in a pot for another winter and put it to the ground in 2012. I think I'll plant it at our holiday house on Skiathos Island, because it rarely goes down below freezing there.
