Wow, I am loving what I'm reading! You guys have been most helpful and I'll let you know what I decide on and when I get it. Not in a rush but want to get one by the new year.

I am dreaming of the great pics I will take. Image stabilization will definitely be of interest to me. I want it to be as easy as can be but I am pretty good with cameras and electronic equipment so I think I'll be able to learn to use it well...let's hope.

Neat that you worked in a camera store, R3tic! When I think of more questions, I'll be sure to ask...
