It doesn't have anything to do with it being 'Thai Black'. There are normally a couple variegated plants produced during mass tissue culture of any variety, it is quite common as far as mutations go. Sometimes they revert to green, sometimes they are stable in varying degrees, but you'll find out as it grows.
