I have a plant of Musa 'Goldfinger', bought October 2008 which is now in a large pot with three stems. The largest has just produced a flower bud. Can anyone tell me how long it takes for fruit to grow, develop and ripen. I am here until end of March 2011. By the way, this is Southern California desert, so conditions warm throughout the winter - some chilly nights but frost unlikely.
