Commendable program, especially if the community can further the varieties that will grow in cooler zones. I appreciate the appeal (pun intended) of producing hardy fruiting varieties, but some of us would heartily support an effort to produce a greater number of cool zone hardy varieties and hybrids period. As we all know, you can't have too many 'nanners'!
