guinea fowl are great, they dont scrach, or touch garden plants. Adult guinea fowls diet consests of about 90% bugs... crickets, grasshoppers, aphids, ticks, etc...
I have some guinea fowl and they do great at eating bugs, I havent had any problems yet.

If you cant have animals I think 7 dust or other pesticides are your best option.
