Yeah, one consideration people tend to leave out is that in a pot, you're adding at least a foot to total height just for the soil's level being in the pot. Therefore, if you have 8' total, 1' is taken for the soil/pot, and you probably need 1.5-2' for new leaves to come out properly....so you really only can sustain 5' of pseudostem. SDC is about the only fruiting banana I can think of that really fits within those parameters. Some of the other dwarfs might work out, but it'd be a stretch.

Yes, this was my understanding as well. I was told it was quite a monster of a plant. Probably not well suited to being grown indoors if height is limited. I heard the fruit was excellent, though.
