Most of my bananas are holding on and continuing to grow very well (particuarly the ice cream banana, dwarf cavendish, and super dwarf cavendish), but the musa basjoos are browning up. I just bought them but they clearly were not being grown in full sun. Ill probably have to cut all the leaves off and let them grow some sun resistant ones. They are handling the heat worse than any of my other plants (even my peace lily in shade isnt complaning!).
Good luck!

Palmtree, I have an icecream and it has done fine with 112F with 5% humidity. The only banana that i've had die from heat is Musa basjoo. It sucks, but they really can't take the heat.
I have a dwarf cavendish in full sun (all day) in 105F+ heat for weeks now and super low humidity that has been doing amazing. I'm surprised how well some of the bananas do in the extreme dry heat.
