correct me if I'm wrong guys. All the leaves the come out are a bit lighter and darken the longer they are exposed to the sun. ALso the black streaks are probably caused by the uv light and does no harm. However if the stem feels mushy not firm where it is black it could be rot and then it should be cut off to prevent it from spreading. The plant should come back once the rot is gone. As long as the stem feels firm and not mushy you are ok.
