Walmart might even have them...I've seen them there before. I'm still a bit skeptical about those things, but let me know how they work!
As far as the fertilizer thing goes, it doesn't really have to be complicated. I fertilize whenever it seems like it's been a while. I just kinda dump a bunch of the soil and when it sorta disappears mostly, I do it again. I have no schedule and my plants do great. It's not like if you don't fertilize for a while the plant dies....it just won't grow as quickly, that's all (or if it gets too far it might start showing signs of a nutrient deficiency).
