I think the fact that it got full sun, I mixed Mycorrhizal Fungi & Miricle grow Palms slow release into the mix. I sprinkled it on the upslope w/ half cup of triple 13 then 2 months later a half cup of triple 8 and watered regularly.. The quick leaves don't take the cold like the regularly slow growing leaves. I do know that much 21F kicked their butt..
