Default Re: Question 4 Pitangadiego and Gabe

Mysore is an entire subgroup, so there are a fair few number of different cultivars which would all be classified under Mysore, it doesnt mean they are exactly the same, but that they all are mutations off of an original single cultivar. 'Pisang Klotek' may not be exactly like the 'Mysore' in the US, but its very similar. 'Misiluki' is the name for 'Mysore' commonly used in Samoa, and the clone they have their may indeed be different from the 'Mysore' or 'Misi Luki' in the US, but I have not seen either fruit and this kind of information is not so easy to look up.

However, there is one trait about all of the Mysores which make them fairly easy to ID if there is reason to believe that a cultivar should be a Mysore, even when young, and that is the presence of a reddish/coppery tint on the undersides of the leaves.
