Default Re: Snow in Houston??!!

Brent, we are in the same situation as you. NWS reporting a 70% of snow with accumulation of 1 to 2 inches. If this does, in fact, happen, it will be the first time in recorded history that southwest Louisiana has snow this early. We only see snow once every decade or so, and the last time was last year but usually in the month of January or February. Plus we stand to set a record low Friday night as well if it drops to 31 F. I scurried around yesterday digging up 12 plumeria trees. I had already moved all of my heliconia and other container tropicals into the greenhouse. This afternoon, I'm going to spray my bananas with Freez Pruf and wrap the Ae Ae's. The only thing this weather is good for is duck hunting, which, I will be doing this weekend.
