Default configure and bananas?

Has anyone tried that new growth regulator Configure on bananas? it's labeled for increasing branching on hostas and echinaceas. The chemical is

from the bottle. It's also been approved for phal orchids and christmas cactus to increase branching.
I was thinking about trying it on a banana or two to see if it increases "branching" on them, you know pups. I just got a bottle of it to use on hostas--$113.99 plus shipping, ouch! but not too bad. Anyway if it works on say, an ice cream banana, they're kind of a slow pupper, maybe it would be worth a test with my ae ae later on.
