I know if you're going to cook with them, you can freeze banana leaves. I suppose if you wanted to make one of those cement hypertufa things with them, they would be ok if they'd been previously frozen. I know the glycerin works with oak leaves and brings out lots of color in them. But they are quite a bit stiffer than banana leaves. Check and see how much the stuff costs and let that be your deciding factor, that's how I usually operate around here...lol...
