Default Will this pup survive?

I started with two small starter plants this June and have really enjoyed watching their progress. One Dwarf Orinoco that is now over five feet tall and a Dwarf Canandish that has done well but only 22 inches tall (I'm starting to think super dwarf). The DC had water sucker pups right away but the Orinoco didn't do anything until the last month or so and now there are three sword suckers.

So I decided to seperate some suckers and put them into pots for the winter as an insurance policy for next year. I removed two water suckers from the DC and the largest sword from the DO.

I read and studied the sticky for seperating and the DC seemed ok but the DO didn't have any roots and I fear it may not make it. Did I get enough corm for this little pup to survive- last pic?
